Director's Message

The Office of Academic Quality and Excellence (AQE) at IBA has been recently launched as a result of the restructuring and expansion of the former Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC). The office now comprises four units: the two that previously existed within QEC, Regulatory Standards and Compliance (RSC) and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA), along with two newly added units, the Teaching and Learning Hub (TL Hub) and Student Success and Support (SSS). 

AQE office is devoted to ensuring the quality and continuous improvement of academic programs and teaching and learning across IBA's three schools. We work to uphold the standards set by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, and to ensure compliance with national accreditation bodies such as the National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) and the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC). Through regular institutional and program-level reviews, ongoing student feedback, and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, we continue working to enhance the overall educational experience for our students. 

Our newly added TL Hub unit aims to develop and showcase the teaching talents of IBA faculty, and to foster a vibrant, connected, and future-ready teaching culture across the institute. SSS, our other new unit, aims to support students throughout their academic journey through a structured TA governance system, academic standing reviews, and proactive support. 

With these additions, I feel we are well-positioned to bring greater coherence to teaching, learning, student support, and academic oversight across IBA. I am grateful for the continued support of our faculty and staff, and look forward to working together as the AQE office grows into this expanded role.
